In 2010 Future Now Cambodia established Entrepreneur Life as an innovative development program for young Cambodian entrepreneurs.
We launched the second promotion in March 2011.

MIECH SokhomOwner & Manager, Ironworks Metal Fabrication Workshop 26-year old Sokhom leads Ironworks in the fabrication of customized metal furniture, building parts, technical equipment and artistic accessories. Vision & EL GoalsSokhom hopes to learn more about managing staff, connecting with and sell his products to more customers, and how to do business in Cambodia as a Christian. LORN SopheakFuture Owner, T-Shirt printing shop Sopheak leads a youth and children’s ministry where he oversees the care of over 100 youth in the provinces. He plans to apply his past experiences in leading youth, marketing and restaurant service to start his own printing business. Vision & EL GoalsSopheak joined EL to learn how to design and implement a t-shirt and banner printing business in order to provide jobs and reliable income to the youth he works with. |

LY Sokny (Nicole)Owner & Manager, Guesthouse and Café Nicole recently opened a small guesthouse and café serving “true” Vietnamese food in Phnom Penh. Nicole wants to bless both her guests and staff through her business. Vision & EL GoalsNicole hopes to be challenged to “think outside of the box” and learn how to put her plans into action. |

VY ChoeunOwner & Manager, ROOT IT Support Choeun currently employs 8 staff members and 3 apprentices at ROOT IT, which provides IT services including network services, printer and computer repair, security set-up and technical support, as well as hardware and software sales. EL GoalsChoeun says that his business is strong technically, but with assistance from the EL program he hopes to improve in the areas of marketing and management. HO Vorleak (Vireak)Founder & Managing Director, VR Translation In 2006, Vireak began using his gift of language to start a translation business. Since VR Translation opened doors, Vireak has created a network of 11 translators, in addition to himself, who he calls on to translate documents and interpret for clients, as needed. SOK Rity (Vin)Future Owner & Manager, Mobile Coffee business Vin currently works as a Marketing Manager at Three Corner Coffee in Phnom Penh, and plans to start his own mobile coffee business soon to deliver high-quality coffee to customers around Phnom Penh. Vision and EL Goals Vin joined EL to learn to create a solid business plan to see his goals through. He sees a clear connection between his business and his personal faith and ministry: “I believe that God will use me for his vision to spread his kingdom in Cambodia.” |
Kim HOEUNOwner & Manager, Sokimex gas station in Takeo province Kim is a businessman from Takeo province who runs a phone shop, sports club and Sokimex gas station in his home province. Vision and EL GoalsThrough the EL program, Kim wants to learn more about managing, motivating and leading people. He’s also interested in networking and learning from other like-minded people. |

PHON SothyCo-Owner & Manager, TT Bakery Sothy, together with his wife, runs a wholesale bakery called “TT Bakery” best known for providing excellent flour tortillas. SEM Sochetra (Chetra)Future Owner & Manager, Travel & Transportation Company Chetra plans to start a local tourism company that provides tuk tuk, car, van and bus transportation services for hire. Currently, Chetra works as a Project Manager with Samaritan’s Purse. Vision and EL GoalsChetra hopes to launch his business in 2012 and has joined the EL program to learn more about business development and creating and implementing a business plan. |

KONG SopheakFuture Owner, Fresh Fruit Ice-cream & Snack Food Sopheak is planning to open up his snack food business within the next few months – he has already learned to make ice-cream with fresh, local fruits and is currently doing market research . Vision & EL GoalsSopheak joined the EL program to improve his business plan and explore business development. He hopes that his business will provide women-in-need and university students with the opportunity to earn reliable income. |

OUK Sivatha (Vatha)Owner & Manager, Enjoy Life Translation Vatha is a 24-year old business owner who started his translation and interpreting business in order to bless and help others, and to make a living while doing what he loves. Vision & EL GoalsVatha wants to share knowledge and wisdom to Cambodians and foreigners alike through his translation services. He hopes to increase his ability to run a business effectively by learning more about different business methods and theory with EL. |

SOK ChetraFuture Owner & Manager, Il Nodo Design & Jewelry Chetra is a Project Officer at an NGO in Phnom Penh called Il Nodo, which, in Italian, means “The Knot.” Through his training and work at Il Nodo, Chetra has become highly skilled in creative jewelry design, creating works of art that reflect a unique blend of Italian and Cambodian design out of high-quality silver. Vision & EL GoalsChetra is starting the jewelry business as an income-generation project to sustain the Il Nodo school of craftsmanship. The business will open new avenues through which he and his team at Il Nodo, can sell the fine jewelry created by the young Il Nodo silversmiths. SENG SoukeangOwner, Rama Photocopy and Printing Soukeang runs a growing printing shop in the city where she helps clients create and print large amounts of photo-copies, booklets, conference materials and banners. Vision & EL GoalsSoukeang joined EL to learn new strategies for developing her business, particularly in the area of marketing, and also to learn how to make business plan.

TUM Serey (Vanna)Future Owner, Chicken farm Vanna, a dedicated member of New Life Fellowship church, has big dreams to start and run a farm raising Khmer chickens outside of Phnom Penh, and sell his chickens to local modern markets and restaurants. Vision & EL GoalsVanna signed up for the EL program in order to learn about developing a business and financial plan, and also to learn more about being a Christian businessman.

MEAS PhatOwner/General Manager, Green Vet Co., Ltd. Green Vet imports medicines and vitamins for livestock from Vietnam and Phat’s growing sales team distributes them to local depots throughout Cambodia. Vision & EL GoalsPhat plans to expand his product range this year and would eventually like to have a Green Vet factory in Cambodia to produce animal medicines locally. He has joined EL to learn new ways to grow his business and to network with other like-minded people. |
