Entrepreneur Life 2010 Apprentice Profiles

In 2010 Future Now Cambodia established Entrepreneur Life as an innovative development program for young Cambodian entrepreneurs.

The Entrepreneur Life program adopts an apprenticeship styled learning model – combining class based training, field work, industry placements, mentoring and practical assessments within a competency based framework.

We endeavor to make this training program available to as many as possible and as such – the program is delivered in both English and Khmer language.

This is the list of our current apprentices:

Hang Nareth – Manager and Owner of Noria Fried Rice and Noodle Store

Work Experience Manager for Car & Motor washing place 1 year, Manager for Public Payphone 1 year, Air-conditioner technician for Chea-Pov Garage 1 year, Driver for Korean pastor 8 months, and Manager for self-employed 3 years (fried rice and noodle seller ). Meas Vicheka – Manager, Jars of Clay

Work Experience Cook rice seller (Oroussey Market) 2 years, Stock keeper (A company) more year, Project manager (Asia Communication Co, Ltd) more than 2 years, Cashier (Riverside Bistro) 2 months, Manager (Jars of Clay) more than 2 years. Vision To help women and girls who are vulnerable and losing confident, lacking love, by giving them hope through job opportunity at jars so that they can get experience from what they do, especially we will teach them about God’s love. Hoes Chanthol – Inside Out Travel Business Manager

Work Experience English teacher (Bright time school) 1 year, Receptionist (Socheat’s company) 8 months, English teacher (Joy Kindergarten) 6 months, Care Giver (Healing home) 8 months, Business manager (Inside out Cambodia) Feb-present. Vision To have a professional tour company in Cambodia, give more job to young Christian, run Package tour to different place of Cambodia, 50% profits support NLF’s dorms. Phin Naroth – Homecare Project Manager at Asian Outreach Cambodia

Eang Keo Kongkea – Owner & Manager of Glory Tailor

Work Experience Owner of Business (Glory Tailoring) 2008 to present, Secretary of Administrator (WEC – Vocational Training Center) 2002-2007, Sewing (QMI Garment factory) 2000-2001.
